In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, Genesis 1:1. God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good, and He validated it completely, Genesis 1:31.
What God has validated and has entrusted into the stewardship of mankind has turned to be a place of desolation. Creation reveals the creativity and supremacy of our God. The earth was to be a place of relationships, multiplication, fruitfulness, and a center of direct connection into the heavens. The result of mankind disobedience as explained in Genesis chapter 3 resulted in the earth being subjected to futility and corruption. The earth is no longer fulfilling its validation of being a good place, but rather it suffers continually from different calamities.
God’s purpose for creation remains unchangeable, in different occasions we are introduced to the Way Maker redirecting the path of humanity to His original intention to the extent of sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to bring salvation and to rescue the loss and weary, “for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him” John 3:17.
